Laura Davies must be craving the end of
the tournament after things went from
bad to worse in her third round.
Her 77 was hardly the sort of score to
fire up the record-breaking crowd at
Woburn as a seven at the par four 15th
helped send her tumbling to six-over.
The writing was on the wall as early as
the first when a massive drive with a
three-iron set up a birdie chance, but
she three-putted from 10ft.
The following holes could not have been
more inconsistent, with six birdies,
four bogeys, a double-bogey and a
triple-bogey leaving her despondent.
