 Jonah Lomu has agreed a four year      

 contract with the New Zealand Rugby    

 Union ending speculation of a switch to

 Rugby League.                          

                                        

 The All Black winger rejected lucrative

 offers to change codes following a     

 series of stunning displays during the 

 World Cup in South Africa.             

                                        

 "They've come up with something that's 

 made me happy and I wanted to stay with

 rugby. I'm staying but we've still got 

 negotiations to work through," he said.

                                        

 The deal will bind Lomu until the end  

 of the 1999 World Cup but financial    

 details have not been disclosed.
