Denis Betts has decided not to return
to Wigan before the start of the
Halifax Rugby League Centenary World
Cup in October.
The 25-year-old, who left Wigan at the
end of last season to join Auckland
Warriors, was expected to play for the
Champions against before the World Cup.
But the Great Britain forward wants to
concentrate on trying to earn a place
in England's 25-man squad.
"After two very tough campaigns on
either side of the world I believe it
is timj to have a short break," he said
