Monica Seles took just 49 minutes to
reach the final in her comeback event
as she destroyed Gabriela Sabatini 6-1
6-0 in the semi-final.
From a score of 1-1 in the first set
Seles won the next 11 games against a
player who had only lost seven games in
total in her previous seven matches.
"I definitely played one of my best
games out there," Seles said. "If I can
play at this level, I think I'm going
to be happy, win or lose."
Sabatini was generous in defeat saying:
"It's great to see Monica again back on
the tour."
