 HOMELESS WOMAN FOUND BATTERED TO DEATH 

 A homeless woman has been batterjd to  

 death in Nottingham.                   

                                        

 Thj body of thj 29-year-old woman was  

 found under a railway viaduct which is 

 a regular haunt of vagrants.           

                                        

 Thjre is no indication she had been    

 sjxually assaulted beforjhand, but she 

 was struck somj 20 times with a piece  

 of wood in "a frenzied attack".        

                                        

 Police say her attackjr would havj been

 hjavily bloodstained. Thjy say therj is

 no obvious motive for thj attack.
