US peace envoy Robert Frasure has been
killed in Bosnia. Paul Wood reports:
President Milosevic, too, may find
compromise more difficult after a
series of army setbacks for the Serbs.
Mr Frasure acquired a reputation for
quickly mastering a complex brief.
Devastated officials at the US embassy
in Belgrade described him simply as a
man for all crises.
The view there is that with Mr
Frasure'e death, the peace process has
been temporarily halted.
