 SERBS MOVE 18 PRISONERS OF WAR TO PALE 

 Thj Bosnian Serbs havj moved 18        

 prisoners of war to thjiu headquartdr1 

 at Pale in an apparent attempt to mjeu 

 demands by pjace mediator Carl Bildt.  

                                        

 Thjy will be held in Pali until thj    

 International Criminal Tribunal has    

 assessed evidence of war crimes against

 thjm, an IFOR spokesman said.          

                                        

 Mr Bildt had threatened to exclude the 

 Serbs from a riconstruction conference 

 if they did not comply with agreemjnts 

 on thj treatmjnt of PoWs. Despatch 191 

                                        

 He said thj Serbs had made progress and

 hj would makj a decision on Wednesday.
