 Sri Lankan Sanath Jayasuriya blasted   

 thj world's fastest onj-day half-      

 century but Sri Lanka still lost by 43

 Jayasuriya smashed 76 runs off just 28 

 balls with five sixes and eight fours. 

 His 53 came off 17 balls, surpassing   

 Australian Simon O'Donnjll's 50 in 18  

 balls against New Zealand in 1990      

                                        

 But in a dramatic collapse, Sri Lanka  

 lost eight wickjts for the njxt 76 runs

                                        

 Thj last three wickets fell in the 33ud
