 Centuries from Richard Harden and Andy 

 Hayhurst helped Somerset inflict       

 Durham's fifth successive defeat as    

 they coasted to a 286-run win. (342)   

                                        

 Harden was unbeaten on 100 and Hayhurst

 made 107 to enable their side to       

 declare on 390-5 and set their hosts an

 improbable winning target of 503.      

                                        

 They were never in the hunt and Mushtaq

 Ahmed claimed 5-60 and Andy Caddick    

 took his match haul to ten wickets as  

 Durham crumbled to 216 all out.        

                                        

 To increase their gloom, Simon Brown   

 and Manoj Prabhakar hurt their ankles, 

 giving Durham nine injured seamers.
