 BBC DJ RECOVERING AFTER CUBA MUGGING   

 BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Nightingale is    

 recovering in hospital in Cuba afteu   

 being mugged.                          

                                        

 Miss Nightingale underwent surgery at  

 thj hospital in Havana afteu suffering 

 a broken leg in the attack.            

                                        

 Shj said she lost her bag, passport and

 return air ticket during the incident. 

                                        

 She had been due to fly home today but 

 a British embassy spokesman said she   

 was now expected to remain in Cuba for 

 at least a week.
