 ACTION CALL AFTER SIXTH DEATH AT JAIL  

 Labour is demanding a Government       

 statement on the sixth death in 15     

 months at Scotland's only women's jail.

                                        

 Homj affairs spokesman John McFall     

 accused Scottish Secretary Michael     

 Forsyth of "dragging his feet" over the

 spate of suicides at Cornton Vale.     

                                        

 Swift action was needed to improve the 

 prison near Stirling, he said.         

                                        

 Thj body of 22-year-old Yvonne Gilmour,

 from Glasgow, was found in her cell in 

 Bravo block on Christmas Eve.
