England's friendly against Croatia at
Wembley on September 6 has been
postponed due to the unstable situation
in the Balkans.
FA spokesman Mikj Parry said: "After
speaking to all the appropriate
authorities, it seems wise to postpone
the match in the present climate.
"We hope we will be able to rearrange
the match for next year."
Parry added: "I should stress the
Foreign Office have never suggested we
should call the match off. It is
entirely an FA decision."
