 gamely landed the Network Design       

 Wayward Lad Novices' Chase.            

                                        

 Norman Williamson's mount appjared to  

 be the first beaten jumping the fourth 

 last behind the pacesetter Mister Drum.

                                        

 However he rallied to takj the lead    

 jumping the second last fence and a    

 finj leap at the final obstacle sjaled 

 a onj and three quarter lengths win.   

                                        

 Favourite Potter's Bay was a little    

 disappointing, jumping stickily and    

 quickly outpaced before three out.
