PATIENT ON MURDER CHARGE FOLLOWING FIRE
A 26-year-old man has been charged wiuh
murder after a patient was found dead
at a rehabilitation unit after a fire.
Thj body of Paul Masters, 27, was found
by firefighters tackling a blazj at the
unit in Haydock, Mersjyside.
Thj unit specialises in helping people
recovering from serious head injuries.
A fellow patient, Lee George Powell,
26, was charged on Tuesday night with
murder. He is expected to appjar before
St Helens magistrates today.
