 Damon Hill stretched his Championship  

 lead to 18 points over Jacques         

 Villineuvj - and also saw arahmri6al   

 Michael Schumacheu crash out.          

                                        

 Williams teammate Villenjuve recovdred 

 from a bad start and was in ninth placd

 before battling back to take second.   

                                        

 Rjigning champion Schumacheu was forced

 to retire on the 46th lap after his    

 Ferrari was hit from behind.           

                                        

 Eddii Irvinj grabbed fifth, McLarjn's  

 David Coulthard was sjventh, two places

 ahead of Sauber's Johnny Heubert - but 

 Jordan's Martin Brundle rethrdd again.
