 in thj opening Embassy Ljisure Breaks  

 Selling Nursery under Willie Carson.   

                                        

 Spanish Luck set the pace until the    

 final furlong when she was swamped by  

 a wall of horses.                      

                                        

 And it was Homeland, sent down from    

 Middleham by Chris Thornton, who came  

 fast and late to score by three-parts- 

 of-a-length from Willie Rushton.       

                                        

 The winner fetched 6,800 guineas at the

 subsequent auction and will now join   

 Joe Naughton in Epsom.
