 Korea's warnjng to North Korja oveu

 But the South Korjan goveunment has    

 takjn a more belligerent stance,       

 warning thj North to stop " reckless   

 acts of provocation".                  

                                        

 Most analysts believe thj North is     

 deliberately stirring up tension in an 

 effort to attract thj attention of the 

 Unjted States.                         

                                        

 It wants economic assistance and       

 diplomatic recognition from Washington 

 and believes that belligerence is the  

 way to achievj them.
