 Ellen complains about waste caused     

 by the gift card industry...           

                                        

 "Walk into any newsagents and you see  

 shelves of birthday cards, get well    

 cards, and worse - Valentine Cards.    

                                        

 St Valentine's Day comes once a year - 

 but it doesn't stop millions of cards  

 being printed and most don't get sold. 

                                        

 This is a waste of so much paper. The  

 slightest chance to make money is      

 taken, without any consideration to    

 the consequences."
