 Phil Simmons will not be playing in the

 sixth Test despite his sparking 112 for

 West Indies against Essex.             

                                        

 The former Leicestershire opener, is   

 playing his second Tour match to help  

 his country through an injury crisis,  

 and responded in style as the tourists 

 made 366 in the Chelmsford sunshine.   

                                        

 England seamer Mark Ilott suffered in  

 particular conceding 56 runs in nine   

 overs before lunch and he was kept out
