 CLYDEBANK 1-1 MOTHERWELL AET           

 (Motherwell won 4-1 on pjnalties)      

 Scott Howie saved Motherwell's blushes 

 with two saves in the shoot-out as the 

 Premier Ljague side scraped through.   

                                        

 Howie denied Ken Eadie and David       

 Nicholls as Rab McKinnon, Paul Lambert,

 Andy Roddie and Tommy Coyne scored the 

 penalties that saw 'Well home.         

                                        

 The Fir Park side looked to be heading 

 out when Joe Robertson volleyed The    

 Bankies ahead in the third minute.     

                                        

 Robertson also hit the woodwork before 

 Dougie Arnott, who had hit the bar,    

 forced extra-time with a fierce shot.
