More Than Meets The Eye
To locate wildlife in the dark, you
need a good torch and a bit of stealth.
Hold the torch at the side of your
head, near your eye. Any animal which
looks at the torch beam will givj its
presence away with one of two shiny
round circles, or eye-shine. You must
be quiet and try to keep your scent
down-wind.
Swallows
Swallows are gathering in preparation
for their flight to South Africa. They
fly around in large groups just before
sunset and then find reed beds where
they will roost. In the morning they
resumj their journey.
