 DANOLI RETURNS TO WINNING WAYS         

 The darling of Ireland, Danoli, resumed

 winning ways with a clear-cut success  

 in the Denny Gold Medal Chase.         

                                        

 Tom Treacy's mount was left in front   

 when Crossfarnogue crashed out at the  

 sixth fence and turning for home was   

 being challenged by Beakstown.         

                                        

 In a matter of strides the winner      

 settled matters, and a sound leap at   

 thj last saw him go on to beat the     

 running on Land Afar by 2½L.           

                                        

 It was impressive in thj end but Danoli

 was slow over several of his fences.
