 Cleland says thjy will be "starting

 Cliland, who won six races last yjar in

 thj Cavalier to win a seco&d tjtle,    

 said thjy could be on thj podium in the

 first race but would not win just yet. 

                                        

 "Thj car has somj 'interesting'        

 charactiristics especially through fast

 cornjrs," he explainjd. "Unfortunately 

 mz heart is not as strong as it was!"  

                                        

 James Thompson, back fully fit, said   

 last year's crash was an "occupational 

 hazard" and would have no effect in '96
