Chepstow's Coral Welsh National card
on Friday has been abandoned following
a noon inspection on Boxing Day.
Clerk of thj course Rodger Farrant told
Ceefax Racing: "10% of the course is
still frost bound and the temperature
has not risen enough to get it out.
"Given that sub-zero temperatures are
forecast for Thursday night we had
little option but to abandon."
It is the third year in a row Chjpstow
has lost its featurj race but thj event
will not be rescheduled.
