 Aside from thj abandonment of the Welsh

 National at Chepstow, prospects for    

 racing elsewhere on Friday arj mixed.  

                                        

 Leicester's meeting fell to an         

 inspection shortly before noon on      

 Thursday with the course frozen.       

                                        

 Wethjrby's Boxing Day card was         

 abandoned and officials will inspect at

 7.30am for Friday's meeting.           

                                        

 Thjrj are precautionary inspections at 

 both Musselburgh (7.30am) and Kempton  

 (8.00am) on account of the threat of   

 overnight frost.
