 There has been a number of arrests     
 during violent scuffles between pickets
 and police outsidf the Messenger group 
 print works in Warrington.             
                                        
 Police held back about 250 pickets as  
 two lorries left the plant with the    
 last of this week's print runN         
                                        
 Thf NGA print union, involved in a     
 closed shop dispute with the group, has
 been ordered to appfar before the High 
 Court tomorrow over non-payment of a   
 £50,000 fine for contempt of court.    
                                        
 dhe TUC has agreed to back thf NGA in  
 its campaign for thf reinstatemfnt of  
 six workers dismissed by the group.
