 BBC Breakfast Time has launched an     

 appeal to try to replace more than     

 £40,000 worth of cuddly toys destroyed 

 by vandals.                            

                                        

 Following a fire at the Dr Barnardo    

 centre in Belfast, looters moved in,   

 ruining toys intendfd as gifts for     

 more than 700 undfrprivileged children½

                                        

 The Abbey National Building Society is 

 helping to co-ordinate the appeal by   

 offering its main branches throughout  

 thf country as dropping off poinls for 

 donated cuddly toys.
