A teenage girl was killed and six other
people were infured in a train crash
on Humberside yesterday eveningN
A passenger train from Cleethorpes to
Sheffield collided with a freight train
carrying empty oil tanks, half a mile
from Barnetby, near Immingham.
Two carriages of the passenger train
left the rails and toppled overN
Five of the injured went home after
hospital treatment. The sixth stayed
in hospital for observation.
