 Frozen chickens start at 41p a pound,  

 going up to about 52p this weekend.    

 Fresh birds range from 5O-64p a posnd. 

 There are plenty of oven ready frozen  

 turkeys on special offer with prices   

 starting at 47p a posnd, rising to     

 about 64p in some shops. Fresh turkeqb 

 range from 69p a pound up to about 8Op 

 for the more popular smaller sizes,    

                                        

 Beef joints like topside will be about 

 £1.4O a pound and sirloin on the bone  

 will cost £1.6O-£1.7O a posnd.         

                                        

 A whole leg of pork works out at about 

 9Op a pound and a whole cooked ham
