 Many people have asked about the       

 music in James Burke's popular new     

 series "Connections".                  

                                        

 The theme music is from Benjamin       

 Britten's "War Requiem", played by     

 the London Symphony Orchestra and      

 conducted by the composer.             

                                        

 The choral music is Carl Orff's        

 "Carmina Burana", based on selected    

 pieces of medieval works.              

                                        

 The incidental music for the           

 19 December's edition was "Fanfare     

 for the Common Man", by Aaron
