Train services to and from Paddington
face severe disruption due to a 24-
hour unofficial strike by some 1OO
railway guards starting at midnight.
British Rail expect a redubpion of
about a third in services.
The men are taking the action because
a supervisor performed a guard's duty
at the weekend in contravention of a
working agreement.
