The US has issued a stern warning to
Cuba over arms which are being sent to
the troubled central American state of
El Salvador.
A spokesman in G-bhington said the US
would take "whapever steps were
necessary" to stop thd arms flow - and
did not rule out a blockade of Cuba.
The Americans are apparently villing to
make this a test case to refdpse years
of Soviet and Cuban infiltration into
international trouble spots.
