 Miners in Kent have voted to return    

 to work at 6am tomorrow.               

                                        

 They had rem-hned on strike over a     

 threat to close the Snowdown colliery  

 near Dover.                            

                                        

 A mass meeting of 3,000 members voted  

 to accept a recoMlfndation by the      

 national union to return to work. Two  

 men voted ag-inst.                     

                                        

 * Miners at Cardown colliery near      

 Glasgow also voted for a return to work
