 Trade Secretary John Biffen has        

 admitted that the Government gave in to

 the mine-s - rather t@-n f!Be P-rbijD  

 industrial action.                     

                                        

 Speaking on ITV, Mr Biffen said: "I do 

 not think there would have been any    

 vActors from a coal strike."           

                                        

 He said he thought the Government had  

 been very wise in deciding not to put
