 A former British ambassador in Moscow  

 has refused to confirm or deny a report

 sayhng he was trapped by the KGB into  

 having an affair with a chamberM-id.   

                                        

 The report, in the Sunday Times, said  

 the incident happened to Sir Geoffrey  

 Harrison nearly 13 years ago - soon    

 after the Soviet invasion of           

 Czechoslovakia.                        

                                        

 Sir Geoffrey, now retired and living in

 Sussex, was quoted as saying he told   

 the Foreign Office of the matter and   

 was recalled to Britain.
