Common Market farm ministers look set
for a stormy meeting tomorrow when they
discuss a controversial new pacU-ff of
farm prices.
The two-day meeting of the EEC farm
council in Brussels will also tackle
other problems which have bedevilled
relations between the member states.
The EEC Commission has recommended
price rises on farm goods averaging
nearly eight per cent.
But many European farmers are demanding
that they be allowed to charge 15% more
for their goods - to catch up with
inflation.
