 One man died and three others were     

 injured when their fishing boat over-  

 turned in choppy seas near Newcastle.  

                                        

 One of the three survivors swam ashore 

 but the others were rescued by         

 helicopter from RAF Boulmer.           

                                        

 The helicopter also picked up several  

 crew members of a lifeboat that took   

 part in the rescue off Cullercoats Bay.

                                        

 * A mountain rescue team is trying to  

 reach an elderly man who is believed to

 have suffered a heart attack in the    

 Peak District in Derbyshire.
