 ■ What remains of Decca's television   
 business is going to the Taiwan-based  
 electronics group, Tatung.             
                                        
 Decca's new parent, Racal, is getting  
 £1.1m for Decca's Bridgnorth TV plant  
 and Bradford laboratory.               
                                        
 Racal will be taking on both debtors   
 and creditors, together with existing  
 stocks.                                
                                        
 Tatung has guaranteed employment for 
 at least 500 Bridgnorth employees for  
 a year, and says it intends to expand  
 the workforce after that date.
