Tokyo Speculatives continued to decline
but foreign buying took blue chips
higher. The Tokyo Stock Exchange Index
rose just 0.26 to close at 502.60.
Australia Selective domestic demand for
minings and industrials helped prices
higher. Amongst leaders, BHP gained 15c
to A$13.65 and CSR 18c to A$6.50. The
AAO Index rose 3.2 to close at 655.1.
Hong Kong The markets reacted in line
with Wall Street to President Reagan's
economic pacU-ff and continuous selling
left prices sharply lower. The Hang
Seng Index fell 45.34 to 1502.08.
