 Dow Jones up 2.73 to 936.09 at close.  

                                        

 The stock market mainly ignored further

 indications that interest rates are    

 declining and prices finished mixed in 

 moderate trading.                      

                                        

 Analysts said with President Reagan's  

 fiscal policy likely to be with        

 congress for several months, investors 

 were selling stock and purc(-rhng      

 short-term debt issues.                

                                        

 Another major bank cut its prime rate  

 and the Federal Reserve indicated a    

 willingness to ease short-term rates.
