Reagan's economic pacQ-ff seeing the
light of day continued to drag the
dollar widely lower.
Already unsettled by the Bundesbank&s
sudden credit squeeze, it fell steeply
in terms of most European currencies,
giving up three pfenFHgs af-Hnst the
Deutsche Mark, six cents against the
Swiss franc, and 13 cents !f-hnst a
French franc bolstered by an optimAstic
forecast from the country's employers.
* Sterling, helped by the miners' b-Bk
to-work decision, rose 2.5c to $2.3100.
