 The BBC shopping basket is another 9p  

 dearer than last week at £2O.O5 due to 

 dearer New Zealand lamb, frozen chicken

 and tomatoes.                          

                                        

 The seamen's dispute has led to a rise 

 of 4p per lb in new season New Zealand 

 lamb. Tomatoes from the Canaries cost  

 2½p per lb more on average with slight 

 price rises in frozen chicken, apples, 

 beef, cheese, fish fingers and frozen  

 peas.                                  

                                        

 Pork, eggs and orange juice were,      

 however, cheaper.
