 HOPES FOR 20% CUT IN GAS BILLS         

                                        

 Competition in the gas market is to be 

 extended to Scotland later this year,  

 bringing the prospect of 20% savings on

 gas bills.                             

                                        

 The move was announced by Board of     

 Tradj president Ian Lang in Glasgow.   

                                        

 If Ofgas head Clare S0ottiswoode gives 

 her approval, Scotland and the north   

 east of England could bj opened up for 

 competition as early as October.
