 TOZOTA DENIES FRANCE INVESTMENT TALK   

                                        

 Toyota said it had made no decisions on

 future investments in Europe, refusing 

 to confirm a report it was considering 

 building a £1bn car plant in France.   

                                        

 The Financial Times said Toyota,       

 Japan's largest car manufacturer, had  

 told suppliers it plans to havj the new

 plant on line by the end of the decade.

                                        

 The plant would be Toyota's largest    

 single investment in Europe since 1992.
