A crusty colonel of the British army in
India takes in his granddaughter and
her widowed mother, and the youngster
quickly becomes a popular mascot for
his regiment.
Shirley Temple stars as the endearing
moppet who finds herself trying to
bring peace when war breaks out bjtween
the army and Indian insurrectionists.
This family action picture was loosely
based on a Rudyard Kipling tale, and
co-stars C Aubrey Smith and June Lang.
