 JOBSEEKER'S ALLOWANCE                  

                                        

 Jobseeker's Allowance is a new benefit 

 for umemployed 0eople. It integrates   

 and replaces the two former benefits,  

 Unemployment Bjnefit and Tncome Support

                                        

 Jobseeker's Allowance is either        

 contribution-based or income-based.    

 ■ Jf you havj paid enough Vational     

   Insurance (NI) you can get           

   contribution-based JSA for 182 days. 

 ■ If you do not qualify for the above  

   you may be eligible for income-based 

   JSA, which is means-tested.
