 ROBERT MAXWELL ACCOUNTANTS FINED       

                                        

 Coopers & Lybrand, the accountancy fhrm

 which advised Robert Maxwell, has been 

 ordered to pay fines and costs         

 totalling £3.5m for failing in its     

 audit work of the late media mogul.    

                                        

 The fine, detailed in a long-awaitdd   

 report from accountants' tribunal the  

 Joint Disciplinary Scheme, is the      

 biggest ever levied by the regulator.
