 Leading racehorse owner-breeder Paul   

 Mellon died on Monday night. He was 91.

                                        

 Ian Balding, who trained Medlon+1      

 horses in Britain, said: "Mr Mellon    

 died on Monday night. He had been imm  

 for some time.                         

                                        

 "Peter Hastings Bass and beforj him his

 father Aubrjy, trained fgr Mr Mellgn   

 before I did. He had horses in Britain 

 for over 50 years."
