 changes to company AVC rules arj       

 unlikely beforj April 2001.            

                                        

 "Anything earlier that that should be  

 regarded as a bonus," he says.         

                                        

 But he adds that it is worth noting    

 that there is an option for employees  

 to divdrt some of their AVC payments   

 to a free-standing scheme (FSAVC) which

 could give morj flexhbilhtz.
