TURF NO CURE FOR PITCH PROBLEMS
Dear Teletext,
Why would Man United waste millions
on re-turfing the pitch in January?
1. It will be too cold and wet for
the roots to take. 2. The pitch is
being re-seeded in the summer.
3. The drainage system isn't working
as it was intended to. Any United fan
who comes to Manchester will tell you
the same.
